Before getting my Chiropractic degree, I worked as a workout physiologist and director of a few cardiac rehabilitation programs. One thing I learned pretty quickly during that time is that what I thought was common sense about health and heart health particularly, really wasn"t so unusual.
What you do on a Rain Maker Day is "company building." A Rain Maker Day is a 24-hour day in which all you"re allowed to concentrate on is advertising and selling of your Chiropractic services. You are prohibited to work at work, you"re not permitted to see patients, not one of that. Just marketing and practice building.
Abbreviations - If you are audited, don"t count on a chiropractor reviewing your records who"ll know what "PR L" or "ASRA" or even "Sublux" means. For that matter, even a non-chiropractor may have problem with non-specific abbreviations like "PT." Did you send the individual for part time or Physical Therapy work? The auditor isn"t going to try and translate your abbreviations, particularly if a key isn"t present that describes their patient. A wonderful SOAP note with one abbreviation that is unidentifiable can cause you to neglect your audit. Therefore, make certain that you"re spelling it out clearly (another edge to EMR, push the button and the word comes out!) or that you supply a key that clearly translates all your abbreviations.
The gates open at 10 am. There are all day events called "Meet the Breeds" and "Adopt-a-thon" There will be fascinating events, like a demonstration by Sandra Snell, DMV, of Sycamore Animal Hospital. Dr. Snell will talk about back care for dachshunds, acupuncture and chiropractic medicine to care for the long backs of the dachshunds.
Well, the main reason for this particular article is really to let all and have lost hope that I finally found something. The office ought to be clutter-free, fresh and clean and the decor reinforces your desired message. Marble countertops in the front office rather than Formica. Wood flooring and WOW! wallpapering. Chrome on your adjusting tables and gear should be starting and rust-free!
On the different side of town (really east of the city), Meredith, my unknowing future wife, was stuck. Her Canadian friend Wayne had two tickets to see his beloved Edmonton Oilers play. He really didn"t have anyone to go with, since he hadn"t been living in Denver for too long. Our families asked his co worker Meredith to go with him. Wayne was her friend, so she said yes, although meredith had little interest in hockey.
To sum up, the way to make marketing automatic would be to make it a habit by taking one Rain Maker Day weekly. No one "finds time" for success, you must "make time." Have a terrific Rain Maker Day!
